Biography
| Tuan Nguyen is an artist, photographer, and art director. Born in Saigon, Vietnam in 1982, he has had an interest in the arts since childhood. However, his advancement in photography began in the Fall of 2005. After a year’s experience, he established himself as a freelance photographer. Tuan’s photography plays with raw emotions and reflects the fantasy world, often mimicking paintings by incorporating both high key and dramatic styles to create cinematic lighting, placing emphasis on the context of the image. On the side, Tuan works on his lifelong project, “The Kaboom Collaboration”. This art project has grown since its introduction in the Spring of 2007. Tuan collaborates with visual artists around the world, combining the two artists’ talents into one canvas. His dream is to continue to create beautiful art pieces synergistically packed with eye candy and provocative meaning. The project is a reflection on humanity; and the pieces are released in chronicles, the first being “The Great Bloom”. One of Tuan’s many goals is to live in New York and shoot fashion while working on the collaborations. |
